Cheguei hoje à
última quinta da minha Aventura durante o verão tailandês. Fui entregue a outro
membro do Wanakaset, Kanya.
Pouco mais nova
que eu, pegou na quinta dos pais e compôs as monoculturas existentes com outras
variedades, indo na direcção do respeito pela biodiversidade (a que eu gosto de
chamar vida). Tem uma pequena casa engraçada muito desarrumada e suja. Diz-me
que não tem muito trabalho para mim e ainda bem, pois tou com uma vontade
enorme de mudar o aspecto do sítio. Ao que parece, ela ainda não largou a casa
dos pais a 100%. Aqui estou sozinho, novamente, sem internet (já ninguém espera
que um tipo não tenha smartphone) mas o
mais interessante é que a probabilidade de um elefante passar por aqui é maior
que 50% (eheh). As pessoas não podem ter árvores de fruto pois eles limpam
tudo, e claro, é sempre preciso algum cuidado. Nesta área existem cerca de 300
elefantes selvagens. São cerca de 15% dos exemplares restantes desta espécie no
mundo. E ainda bem que estão na Tailândia.
I arrived today at the last farm of my adventure during the Thai summer. I was handed over to another Wanakaset member, Kanya.
Little younger than me, she's following her father steps composing the existing monocultures with other varieties, going towards the respect for biodiversity (which I like to call.. life). She has a funny little house that's very messy and dirty. She tells me that she doesn't have much work for me, and that's good, because I have an enormous desire to change how this place looks. Apparently, she still has not left her parents' home 100%. Here I am alone again, without internet (nowadays no one expects a guy to not have a smartphone) but the most interesting thing is that the probability of an elephant pass by here is greater than 50% (eheh). People can't have fruit trees because they eat everything, and of course, we need always to be careful. In this area there are about 300 wild elephants. There are about 15% of the remaining specimens of this species in the world. And I'm glad they're in Thailand.
