Chamamento interior - Inner Call

Passadas algumas horas e um bronze forçado, lá chegámos a Buriram.

O sítio onde a convergência ia acontecer é fantástico. Digno dos cenários do video jogo Tomb Rider. A organização continua a ser muito tailandesa. Então todos os participantes ajudam para que o evento aconteça. Na apresentação houve um senhor tailandês que disse que o seu chamamento interior tinha-o feito passar da agricultura convencional para a biológica e posteriormente implementar fundamentos da permacultura. Perguntei-me: Porque é que uns têm este chamamento e os outros nem por isso?

Outra participante começou a produzir alimentos saudáveis porque um familiar foi vítima de cancro. O mesmo senhor, hoje de manhã, inspirou-me com a sua apresentação e lá explicou que o seu chamamento foi despoletado pelo tsunami que matou milhares em seu redor. Por sorte escapou e percebeu que a vida pode desaparecer num instante. Porque não dar-lhe um propósito digno? Sei mais ou menos o que despoletou o meu mas não vou falar disso aqui. Estou mais interessado em saber o que ainda não fez despoletar nos outros. Vejo-o como as muitas pessoas que conheço que apenas deixaram de fumar quando viram a vida a andar para trás. Acho que não é preciso chegar a esse ponto.

A convergência está cheia de gente interessante de todas as idades e locais do mundo. O ambiente é muito relaxado e familiar. E tem o nível certo de espiritualidade (para mim). Estou muito contente de ter vindo e o meu interesse manifesta-se nas perguntas incessantes que faço em todas as apresentações. Levam-me automaticamente para o meu espaço no Sabugal. Não sei se existe uma convergência destas em Portugal mas faria todo o sentido. Um espaço onde as pessoas partilham conhecimento em vastíssimas áreas como a alimentação saudável e medicina ancestral, princípios de permacultura, arquitectura das árvores, conservação de alimentos, canteiros que não necessitam de manutenção, espécies e benefícios, etc.. E é tão bom estar entre gente que pensa da mesma forma.

After a few hours and a forced tan, we arrived at Buriram.
The place where the convergence was going to happen is fantastic. Worthy of Tomb Rider's scenarios. The organization is still very Thai. Then all the participants help to make the event happen. At the presentation there was a Thai man who said that his inner call had made him switch from conventional to organic farming and then to implement permaculture fundamentals. I asked myself: Why do some people have this call and others don't?
Another participant started to produce healthy foods because a family member was a victim of cancer. The same gentleman, this morning, inspired me with his presentation and there explained that his call was triggered by the tsunami that killed thousands around him. Luckily he escaped and realized that life can disappear in an instant. Why not give it a worthy purpose? I know more or less what triggered mine but I will not talk about it here. I am more interested in knowing what has not yet triggered in others. I see it as the many people I know who just stopped smoking when they saw their life near the end. I don't think we need to get to that point.
Convergence is full of interesting people from all ages and places in the world. The atmosphere is very relaxed and familiar. And it has the right level of spirituality (for me). I am very glad to have come here and my interest manifests itself by the incessant questions that I make in all the presentations. It automatically takes me to my space in Sabugal. I don't know if there is a convergence of these in Portugal but it would make perfect sense. A space where people share knowledge in vast areas like healthy food and ancestral medicine, principles of permaculture, tree architecture, food conservation, maintenance-free beds, species and benefits, etc. And it is so good to be among people who think the same way.
